SCORE / Or How Twitter Finally Pays Off

Just a quick post to show off a couple of new acquisitions. These two items are unique in the way I found out about there sale by hanging out on twitter. The first is a 24x36 inch poster design by Jason Edmiston and limited to only 250 copies. They were originally sold at a special theater screening of both movies with guest Fred Dekker. The left overs were sold online and sold out within days of their listing. I always wanted one and kicked myself for not being quick enough about it.

Well a couple of weeks ago #frightrags tweeted that they had turned up some rare merchandise while warehouse cleaning. 30 of these posters showed up online with a "buy it now" price of $30. This time I jumped on the offer, and was glad I did, they sold out in a day.

The next day I was on twitter about the same time during the morning when #mondonews The art wing of the Alamo Draft House in Austin anouced the sale of German SOV epic "Burning Moon" on collectors VHS. Needless to say I got right on this as well. I consider myself lucky in the way that practically everything Mondo releases sales out in literally minutes.

Now, if I can only keep an eye out for the summer release of the "Drive OST" on vinyl from Mondo I'll be happy.
